The viewer is a dex too. In a browser, it does what the command line does:
- It loads any ledger by address or from a file.
- It verifies each hash and each signature.
- It shows the ledger as the pages of its dex.
It also keeps your own ledger. It signs claims, payments, confirmations, disputes, bids and reveals, and it collects your receipts.
It downloads your ledger as a complete dex, for you to publish. The viewer uploads nothing.
1. Open a ledger: https://ledgdex.github.io/viewer/index.html?ledger=https://biobot.example.
2. Click New key. Then click Keep, sealed, with a passphrase. The viewer stores the key only in encrypted form. Then click Download key backup.
3. Create your ledger, and sign a claim to the loaded ledger.
4. Click Download your dex, and publish it like any dex. The seller collects your claim from it.
The viewer signs with the Web Crypto Ed25519 of the browser when the browser has it. It refuses to run inside a frame on a different site.
It loads nothing from other sites. For production use, serve the viewer from its own address.
